Cubietruck, gbit lan, sata -> Perfomance?!?

Can somebody say, what's the last state about performance of a cubietruck as a NAS?

did a small test:
i get about 28MB/s with samba and 8MB/s with SFTP (reading both times)
(using linux-armv7-rc kernel)

That number should be better. I get 30-40MB/s on GoFlex Home which is much slower

The CPU is, but the SATA controller might not be

Ah I suppose it might be. Or the NIC too. Is it one of those that isn't full Gigabit?
