Working Cubietruck image

Postby h4xx » Wed Jun 24, 2015 10:23 am

Since the standard installation guide is not working for o long time now....

Does anyone have a working image of a Cubietruck installation?

I really don´t like to use pre configured images ect.

But this would be the only way to use Archlinux for me on my Cubietruck for now.

Thanks in advance.

So it seems that the Cubietruck installation Guide was working all the time.

My problem was solved by shorten the RTC battery for a few seconds.

Thread solved.

are you sure the guide works? I followed the guide and installed ArchLinuxARM-armv7-latest.tar.gz, but it does NOT boot at the very FIRST time. I just got a list of message, said booting kernel, and then the screen showed me two penguins, and halted at all. I canNOT find alarm or something on dhcp list of my router, or a working keyboard.

I have the same problem. I followed the guide without any erros. I shorted the RTC without any effect. My linaro image (based on ubuntu 13.10) boots without any problems.
Any ideas left?

Thx & Rgds
