Odroid C1 support hevc in hardware (1080p max though). Don't know how well it works though.

At least on my case (random A10 Device), es2gears_x11 gives me 130 fps, glxgears is 30, mplayer with vdpau-sunxi runs at 5fps. all running from fbturbo with no errors.


Well yeah. They don't support full OpenGL that glxgears uses, and MESA has to do software raster. Welcome to emdedded SoCs. If you want an ARM chip with a real GPU, you're going to have to spend more than $35.

We could have lima drivers by now if the open source community would pay libv the respect he deserves.

anyways, anyone got wayland egl running with mali drivera on sunxi kernel?
TizenOS seems to support mali with wayland. but I'm not sure how useful it can get.
