Olimex LIME2 Legacy Kernel Install

Postby kdubious » Thu Mar 03, 2016 11:14 pm

Can someone direct me as to how I would get ArchLinuxARM up and running with a legacy kernel (for audio) on an Olimex LIME2? Seems the link (http://archlinuxarm.org/os/ArchLinuxARM ... est.tar.gz) is no longer valid.

you can go here http://archlinuxarm.org/os/ArchLinuxARM-armv7-latest.tar.gz

but this is a 3.x kernel.

last week at work, i build a mainline kernel 4.4.5 for olimex lime2. audio is not tested yet. But X with 10" touchscreen is working...
Do you need some hints to build your own kernel?

Hi mike,

I'm sorry to chime in, but I for one would love some instructions and/or tips, if they are not already available elsewhere.
