Just research your options, do whatever comparisons matter to you, and find the device you want to use for the purposes you have. If I say "buy this device so you can do X with it to help us with Y," I can almost guarantee you will lose interest or you will be out of your depth to solve the problem. You need to just find something you want to use, use it, then find problems with our support of it or areas that we are lacking support for some specific subsystem. Building up better support for our existing platforms, and actually letting us know about solution, is the best way to contribute. Too many people find and fix issues, then remain silent or post once here buried in an irrelevant post and we miss it.
