You need to see if the BananaPi M1 has mainline support.

Your image was not an official one, you you likely need to ask the maintainer of that image.

linux-am33x will not work. As a matter of fact, it will break your installation.

thanks for reply .

i install by
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', ' Arch image for Banana Pi ')
on https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ba ... RM_tarball

and
do
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', ' pacman -Syu ')

now i wiil do
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', ' pacman -Sy linux ')
then i come across this question .

PS
$ dmesg | grep CPU
[ 0.000000] Booting Linux on physical CPU 0
[ 0.000000] CPU: ARMv7 Processor [410fc074] revision 4 (ARMv7), cr=10c5387d
[ 0.000000] CPU: PIPT / VIPT nonaliasing data cache, VIPT aliasing instruction cache

i do

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
# pacman -Q| grep linux
libutil-linux 2.28.2-2
linux-api-headers 4.7-1
linux-firmware 20140603.a4f3bc0-1
linux-sun7i 3.4.90-4
util-linux 2.28.2-2
')

so your saying is write.

now i only do
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', ' pacman -Sy linux-sun7i
')

FYI: There is mainline kernel support (linux-armv7) but there might be things that won't work with the new kernel. you may also need a new u-boot.

https://linux-sunxi.org/Banana_Pi_M1#Mainline_kernel

Though i do not recommend updating unless you know what you are doing and have a seriel/UART cable
