ASUS Flip 100P Network Service issue

Postby alaric » Tue Jun 09, 2020 6:43 pm

I've been following the instructions here https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7/rockchip/asus-chromebook-flip-c100p to install Arch Linux and everything went perfectly until finally rebooting into Linux. The startup reports :

[FAILED] Failed to start Network Service.
See 'systemctl status systemd-networkd.service' for details.

and then it gets stuck in a loop of stopping the network service and attempting to start it again.

I'm not entirely sure where to go from here. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks!

The problem is with systemd-timesyncd and systemd-resolved services.

Have a look at the "solution" posted https://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14357&p=63984#p63984 for a related question.

Of course, you may need to figure out how to enable these services later after fixing the relevant bugs.
