How can I test mini PCIE frame grabber card on i.MX6Q

Postby Winy » Wed Nov 09, 2016 3:59 am

I bought a singe board computer i.MX6Q from Forlinx (www.forlinx.net). The board is very nice, but I had a problem when I test it.
we have two pieces boards (1- main board, 2-gps board) so it causes problems.

How we package it? Two adapters, and two boards are not good for production.

Also we couldn’t try board with mini pcie frame grabber card but I dont think it will work with 5volt.
Who can help me.
Thanks in advance.

It's really a nice day.
I got a good suggestion from Forlinx that I can connect the GPS module to i.MX6Q single board computer via serial port, thus I just need one power adapter of the board but no need an extra power adapter for GPS module, the module will get power from the board.
Thanks Forlinx technical support to help me solve my problem. Next I think I can put both the board and module to my box.
