Udoo support

Udoo is a Freescale i.MX 6 board very similar to Wandboard with an integrated Arduino microcontroller: http://www.udoo.org/features/.

Do you think the Wandboard image could run on Udoo with little/no tweaking?

I just booted up using the "generic" imx6 rootfs and the official udoo modules and uImage. Some tinkering was required but so far it runs fine (not tested much, only serial/graphical console, twm). I will go on and test a few more things but since there is a linux-udoo package so official support should not be far away.

Official support has been finalized now that they released their U-Boot source code so I could get things working the way I like to see them. Since being limited to ext3 is a little insane these days, I also patched in ext4 support and that is the default for our setup. Support for a boot.scr under /boot is also there to make modifications without going into U-Boot over serial. The kernel has also been updated to their latest sources.

Would it be possible to add kernel modul for Prolific PL2303?
Or can you give informations on how to add kernel module to a linux/Arch beginner?
