utilite development

Postby mbauhardt » Sat Dec 28, 2013 8:47 pm

Hi,
i plan to buy me a utilite box. any comments who maintains the arch-linux-distribution/kernel for the utilite platform? are archlinuxarm or compulabs responsible for the kernel development? is there a guarantee that arch linux arm are supported at least for the next 2 years or so?

as far as i know is that the current kernel version for the utilite platform is 3.0.x
raspberry pi has 3.10.x. any plans about kernel upgrades?

Thanks
Marko

Arch Linux ARM maintains the kernel and distribution for Arch Linux ARM on all platforms we support. I don't know how there is any confusion. This is also a community, free time project, therefore there are no guarantees about the longevity of anything going forward. The kernel will get moved forward at such a time as one with enough platform support exists.
Arch Linux ARM exists and continues to grow through community support, please donate today!
