I have a Wandboard with external eSata fake raid (imsm) enclosure.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
# mdadm --detail-platform -v
mdadm: checking metadata 0.90
mdadm: 0.90 metadata is platform independent
mdadm: checking metadata 1.x
mdadm: 1.x metadata is platform independent
mdadm: checking metadata ddf
mdadm: ddf metadata is platform independent
mdadm: checking metadata imsm
mdmon: no active Intel(R) RAID controller found.
mdadm: checking metadata mbr
mdadm: mbr metadata is platform independent
mdadm: checking metadata gpt
mdadm: gpt metadata is platform independent
')
I am trying to follow this how-to to get it work:
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-888520.html
But... How can I configure u-boot for use a initrd with mdadm?
----- EDIT -----
Well, I understand if I not want boot from raid I not need initrd. And after connect it by USB seems it is a Silicon Image (SiI5744)
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 1a4a:1670 Silicon Image
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
')
Someone know if can it be used with mdadm?
