wandboard quad hdmi connection lost

Postby wakko » Sat Apr 12, 2014 11:31 am

Hi everybody,
i have a wandboard quad with kernel 3.10.17 and xbmc-imx-git from the alarm repo.

It works quiet well, but after ~ 10minutes my TV get's dark -> it doesn't get a signal any more.
When i restart xbmc it works again (for about 10minutes)

Does anyone have a hint what could be wrong?? :?:

regards,
wakko

consoleblank=0 needs adding to kernel cmdline
Don't know your uboot env, someone can guide you on that. Also add console=tty1 while your there to see systemd messages as it starts

archlinux uses the uEnv.txt by default (when exists)
so i created the file and added

video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1920x1080M@50,if=RGB24,bpp=16 consoleblank=0

that's it
