Any help for NFS under XBMC in Archlinux on a Utilite

Postby derpuma » Thu Apr 17, 2014 5:57 am

I installed XBMC under Archlinux for ArmV7!

Working pretty sable and fast so far.

Exept NFS wich is not working out of xbmc.
I can see my NFS Shares but I cannot get on to them.

Mounting them manuly via terminal works fine:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[root@alarm mnt]# mount -t nfs4 192.168.71.12:/Volumes/2TB-Filme /mnt/filme
mount.nfs4: Protocol not supported
[root@alarm mnt]# mount -t nfs 192.168.71.12:/Volumes/2TB-Filme /mnt/filme
[root@alarm mnt]# ls
filme filme2
[root@alarm mnt]# cd filme
[root@alarm filme]# ls
01 Movies sortiert')

Maybe it has something to do with this:

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1404731

But I tried what they mentioned and replaced the new 1.9.3 libnfs with an older one + symbolic link wich did not work for me.

So far I mount my shares with /etc/fstab wich is working for now but not a solution for me:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '# /etc/fstab: static file system information
#
# <file system> <dir> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
/dev/mmcblk0p1 /boot vfat defaults 0 0
192.168.71.12:/Volumes/2TB-Filme /mnt/filme nfs rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14,intr,_netdev 0 0
192.168.71.12:/Volumes/2TB-Sortierung/Filme /mnt/filme2 nfs rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14,intr,_netdev 0 0')

Any help to get NFS setup? I would like to be flexible with my mounts and shares! :-)

Another thing is not working CPU temperature in xvmc. It is permanently on 32F and doesn't change.

One more is the not working Reboot sand Shutdown out of XBMC.
Always have to hard reset or power off the Utilite.

Any help would be nice.
