[SOLVED][wandboard quad] XBMC Segmentation Fault

Postby selex » Fri Oct 10, 2014 11:24 pm

Hi!

I'm trying to get working my wandboard with XBMC, but after several minutes of playback I'm getting a Segmentation Fault. I'm using Archlinux's image from 03-Oct-2014 (kernel 3.10.17-5-ARCH) and xbmc-imx-git-13.20140922-1. The only thing I have done is to install xbmc-imx using archlinuxarm's PKGBUILS.

XBMC's log shos this kind of error:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
ERROR: CAESinkALSA - snd_pcm_writei(-5) Input/output error - trying to recover
ERROR: CAESinkALSA::HandleError(snd_pcm_writei(1)) - snd_pcm_writei returned -5 (Input/output error)
')

Archlinux's journal says:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
kernel: imx-hdmi-audio imx-hdmi-audio: HDMI Video is not ready!
kernel: imx-hdmi-audio imx-hdmi-audio: ASoC: can't open platform imx-hdmi-audio: -22

')

Has anyone an idea of why is this happening? Thanks!

I found how to avoid this problem. The key is "consoleblank=0" in uEnv.txt

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1920x1080M@60,if=RGB24,bpp=16 consoleblank=0
')
