Hi we just got a Wandboard (i.MX6Q quad core I think, this model was ordered). I have tried to boot using different prebuilt SD card images including Arch Linux for Wandboard. Following the instructions here: http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7 ... /wandboard
Only U-Boot starts but the Linux kernel does not boot. Instead the board seems to restart indefinitely.
U-Boot 2015.01 (Jan 24 2015 - 17:51:53) Arch Linux ARM
CPU: Freescale i.MX6Q rev1.2 at 792 MHz
Reset cause: POR
Board: Wandboard
I2C: ready
DRAM: 2 GiB

Similar behaviour for other Linux distros (e.g. Ubuntu 12.04 and 14.04 from wandboard.org and armhf.com). Only once or twice the kernel booted (after U-Boot had looped a number of times) but the board restarted at the kernel log message "Galcore version ..." which might be when the GPU is initialized.
I have tried with different SD cards, 4GB and 16GB. I think I tried with the "dual" core U-boot image as well but the board did not boot at all. One of images was using the SPL U-boot which should be able to detect the version of the i.MX6 CPU and other HW configurations.
The board is marked WB-EDM-i.MX6 REV C1.
I am using a 5V/3A power supply so I don't think lack of power or low voltage is a problem.
Is this board broken? Or just incompatible with all existing prebuilt images? http://www.wandboard.org/index.php/downloads mentions "not rev C1" in one place but I did not use that image.
Thx,
