Cubix-i4Pro is resetting USB HDD connection

Postby etolentino » Fri Apr 24, 2015 10:51 pm

Hi guys, im new writing here, but I read this forum a lot. :)
I bought a Cubix-i4Pro, a 32Gb SD Card (10), and a eSata Dock with a 2TB WD disk, and after a lot of research, did this setup to work. So I have the SD Card with the "/Boot" files and the eSata disk to root file system. Oh! and the Arch Linux running nice and smooth, with Mate. 8-)
Im happy about these setup, but Im stuck in something now: Im trying to copy around 400Gb from a USB 2.0 HDD (SamSung) with NTFS (already have ntfs-3g installed), but always the connection is droped, the disk is automatic umounted and mounted again, and my copy go to hell. large files are my madness, cant copy, the connection keep dropping.

And I use this command to start my Mate, but this error happens with root on a console only:
exec dbus-launch mate-session

Please how can I do to resolve this ? :?:
Thanx in advance by the help, and sorry about the bad English. :|

PS.: Im trying to copy the files in Mate. This External HDD works fine under windows, already did the copy on a windows machine.
