EDIT: I have got OpenELEC running, Ethernet only stable on 100MBit/s, and no HDMI sound.
So no further plans for running arch on it
But if any one working on it, text me.
Hi,
I'm trying to get the MarS Board with Freescale i.MX6 dual CPU running.
Current progress:
- U-Boot from https://github.com/Freescale/u-boot-fslc 2015.04 is working fine (with HDMI video).
- Kernel: 3.10.53 from https://github.com/FrankBau/meta-marsboard-bsp is also working fine.
- Video: HDMI output in kernel is working.
- Rootfs: I used the latest rootfs from wandboard.
- cmdline: quiet console=ttymxc1,115200 init=/sbin/init rw root=/dev/mmcblk1p1 rootfstype=ext4 rootwait video=mxcfb1:dev=hdmi,1920x1080M@60,if=RGB24 fbmem=10M vmalloc=400M
Now I installed kodi-imx, gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-fb, gpu-viv-g2d, xf86-video-imx, imx-vpu, firmware-imx.
kodi-standalone from TTY as root is crashing with segfault (without useful informations).
Kodi crashlogs also mentions no errors.
weston-launch misses vivante_dri.so to start, maybe that is in gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-x11, which conflicts with kodi-imx which wants gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-fb .
dmesg: http://pastebin.com/ZMrBEFCT
kodi: http://pastebin.com/vxL11neq
Now I don't know where to start, maybe you can point me somewhere to search for errors.
Next thing I'll do:
- compiling linux-armv7 on the target and test it.
- replace gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-fb with gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-x11 and start Xorg.
