Cubox-i - Bluetooth is no longer working

I believe it was a recent update screwed up bluetooth. It used to work perfectly. Now I get errors.

I beleive that I tracked it down to the command:

This command never returns which causes the service to timeout and ultimately causes the rest of the BT services to fail.

I'm not sure how best to resolve this.
