Utilite not booting after upgrade to recent kernel

Postby tobbebobbe » Sun Sep 06, 2015 5:05 pm

Hi,

I have a utilite pro with built in SSD and have upgradet UBoot and kernel. Now system does not boot, but tells me "bad linux arm zimage magic". Also, I cannot seem to boot another system via a resque mmc-card.

I have read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=8503 and tried to use the environment arguments pepedog lists in his post from Sun Feb 22, 2015 7:10 pm. This also does not help. I think it is because his environment variables are for booting from an mmc? I am not sure what I need to do to alter it to boot from the SSD.

Is anyone able to help me?

Hi,

Yes, I did read that thread but it did not solve my problem. What did you have to do in order to get the kernel working? Which environment variables did you set? Would you mind providing your "printenv" from Uboot?

It´s a pity CEC doesn´t work, but at least as a workaround it´s possible to use Yatse on smartphone.
