Cubox-i Lirc update problem

After upgrading Lirc to 0.9.3 (or possibly 0.9.2a-2, as I upgraded from 0.9.2a-1), lirc has been duplicating key presses inside KODI and with some major latency. Downgrading to 0.9.2a-1 seems to have fixed the issue temporarily. Anyone else find a better fix?

I ran in to the same thing on my Raspberry Pi and had to downgrade lirc. Looks though like they've located the issue at the Arch linux forum: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=203177

Just sit back and wait for the fix to ship with the next update :)
