Trouble updating ABS build tree on SmilePlug

Postby strongenough24 » Thu Oct 02, 2014 11:00 pm

I’m trying to install an ABS tree on my SmilePlug.
I installed abs with: "pacman –S abs"
Next I tried to create the tree with: "abs"
This failed because in /etc/abs.conf I needed to change:
ARCH=“i686” to ARCH=“armv7h”
This enabled me to create the tree. I ran abs again to update the tree but a least one package, hostapd, was not updated to the latest version. Any suggestions?

The ABS is not actually armv7h capable. We don't have a separate ABS, but rather an overlay for those packages that need modified. We based of i686, and then use our github PKGBUILDs as an overlay to that.

I have found abs can be a little "sticky"
If you run abs core followed by abs, all should be alright, don't edit abs.conf
