Samsung Chromebook 2, couple of hardware questions

Postby willardthor » Wed Aug 13, 2014 11:10 am

Hi,

I don't know where else to ask; the Chromebook Central Help Forum was not very forthcoming.

In the Samsung Chromebook 2 (XE503C32-K01US),
$this->bbcode_list('1')
  • Can the SSD be replaced/upgraded?
  • Is the microSD card reader a UHS card reader?

  • Kind regards,
    Willard.

    The "SSD" is soldered on eMMC. This information is available all over the web.
    I have had no issues with my 16GB SanDisk Pro Extreme uSD card.

    $this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'T')he "SSD" is soldered on eMMC. This information is available all over the web.

    Thanks you.

    Since this information is available all over the web, do you happen to have a (credible) source?
    $this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'I') have had no issues with my 16GB SanDisk Pro Extreme uSD card.

    According to this, that doesn't really tell us anything about the card reader in the Samsung Chromebook 2. What kind of read/write speeds have you been observing?
