USB on Odroid XU4

Postby mhossbach » Tue Apr 04, 2017 7:37 am

I'm having some trouble running the latest kernel (4.9.20) on my Odroid XU4: With lots of USB traffic, I keep getting these messages in the syslog:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'kernel: usb 4-1.1: reset SuperSpeed USB device number 3 using xhci-hcd')

As a result, the ext4 driver runs into problems, and finally remounts the drive read-only.

Now, this problem starts occuring when I update the system to kernel 4.9.x. When I revert to the last 3.x kernel, everything is fine again, so I doubt that it is any connectivity problem.

Anybody seen that behaviour?

Thanks...

I had this problem too but after doing full upgrade (pacman -Syu), the problem seems to have fixed itself.
