install works okay with usb but not with SD card

I did the install for the USB and everything went smooth. However, I've now tried to do the same to 2 different SD cards and neither works. I believe they are 16 and 64 GB's respectively. Is there some way to force u-boot to boot from the SD card?

This is the Samsung Chromebook.

Unless it manages to recognize them, no. Possibly an initialization speed issue with the card, and that happens on some USB as well. Nothing really to be done.
