New install on Chromebook - what are all these messages?

Postby testingwithfire » Sun Sep 28, 2014 2:23 am

Hi all, new to Arch on ARM as well as U-Boot.

I am getting flooded with error messages every 2-3 seconds to the point where I can barely type at the command prompt. I have no idea what to make of this. Most of the messages are systemd-timesyncd related, but some of them are "Got message type=method_call sender=n/a destinagtion=org.freedesktop..."

I am running Arch on my Intel-based desktop and I have to say I've never had this problem with Arch or any other distro there.

How do I shut off all of this output? I don't know why they're coming up.

Which chromebook ...

And it is the "debug" cmdline option. There is a thread in this section that handles making that go away.

Also, you can silence it at runtime with:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'systemd-analyze set-log-level info')
