[ODROID-X] Official install guide not working

Hi,

I have tried getting Arch on the SD Card for my odroid-x by following the official instructions.
Long story short: The instructions don't work.

First of all I am doing this on an Ubuntu host and it is not clear at all what permission levels I need for the steps in the guide (as in: what needs to be done as root / sudo).

The actual problem I am facing is that the sd_flushing.sh file does not work.
I am returned a "broken identifier" error and that's it

I really do miss the .img files this plattform used to offer as they were fairly easy to just write to SD.
On that note (not related to problem) the instructions given for the raspberry pi B+ result in a device that won't boot.

Can somebody please walk me through the steps needed to get this working on my Odroid?
