PandaBoard ES boot problem

Postby petantik » Thu Mar 08, 2012 2:13 pm

Hi,

I'm running the latest rootfs on my PandaBoard ES. When booting up, the process stops when reaching
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'cpuidle: using governor ladder ')

Anyone have any idea on what is going wrong?

I also needed to use the MLO/u-boot.bin from the PandaBoard ES validation image, and for some reason my boot.scr wasn't being read correctly and so I manually enter the relevant boot arguments to boot the kernel.

How did you setup the SD card? I used the official validation image, resized rootfs, put the rootfs image for the original PandaBoard on it, and booted. Everything went fine.
