pandaboard microphone not working with ubuntu11.04

hi all,

i installed ubutnu 11.04 on pandaboard,
when am trying to capture audio using mic, it is unable to captured,
in my sound setting option that is given below:
sound setting->input
in this option choose a device to sound input but it shows empty list

please can anyboady help me,

I am also trying with ubuntu 11.10, ubutnu 12.04, still same problem is getting
