Kernel version 3.4 or 3.5 ?

Postby halherta » Tue Oct 16, 2012 2:06 pm

Hello all. I own a Pandaboard ES and wanted to upgrade to the latest ARCH Linux Kernel. I had the following questions:

When using pacman to upgrade (pacman -Syu) I get prompted to update pacman first..should I say yes to that?

Also, after the system upgrades all the packages I get a kernel version 3.4 (checked with "uname -a"). Should I stick with 3.4 or install "linux-omap" kernel to upgrade to version 3.5 ? Which kernel version is more stable and is currently recommended ?

Thanks
