Hello,
i got a BeagleBone Black as a present and wanted to install Arch Linux on the eMMC memory.
I followed the instructions (https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv ... bone-black), but if I remove the SD card so that the BeagleBone Black can boot from the eMMC, it doesn't work.
If I want to format the eMMC memory according to the instructions I get the following message
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
[root@alarm ~]# mkfs.ext4 /dev/mmcblk1
mke2fs 1.45.4 (23-Sep-2019)
/dev/mmcblk1 contains `DOS/MBR boot sector; partition 1 : ID=0x83, start-CHS (0x20,0,1), end-CHS (0xff,3,16), startsector 2048, 7550976 sectors, extended partition table (last)' data
Proceed anyway? (y,N)
')
The first time I confirmed the question "Proceed anyway?" with "y". I have the guess that there is a connection.
I have no problem with Arch Linux ARM booting from the microSD card.
