BeagleBoneBlack no HDMI

What am I doing wrong? I have tried having HDMI plugged in when it boots. It works on my RPi. This miniHDMI adaptor worked last time I used it.

There is no default configuration for video.

I get why that is a great idea. I just can't find any documentation on enabling hdmi yet.
