rebuild kernel rootfs etc. for beaglebone black

Postby oender » Thu Jan 30, 2014 1:29 pm

Hello,
How can I rebuild the kernel, bootloader, and rootfs available here : http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7 ... bone-black ?

Is there a guide somewhere?

Our PKGBUILDs github repo container the kernel & u-boot sources. Rebuilding the rootfs is as simple as pacstrap'ing.

Sure you are not meaning "from scratch".

Then you need to have fun. There is no how to, and the ABS/pacman do not function like buildroot, bitbake, gentoo, etc.

Kernel & bootloader, see PKGBUILD scripts.

Rootfs: have fun. I'm not even coming close to holding your hand through rebuilding from the ground up.
