BeagleBone Black - GPU drivers

Postby beatgammit » Sat Apr 26, 2014 6:00 pm

I'm trying to get XBMC installed, and when I go to install libgl, the only options I see are for mesa-libgl and mx6q. I presume the correct choice here is mesa-libgl, but this would be software rendering, correct?

I found these instructions for getting drivers installed. It seems to require Linux 3.12, and the current kernel in the repos seems to be 3.8.

Is this something that could be added to the repos? Is there a PKGBUILD somewhere that someone's already written to get 3.12 and this driver working on the BeagleBone Black?

If you are running 3.8, then you are running linux-am33x-legacy -- search pacman.
