How to to boot Beagleboard xm

Postby srai » Thu Jun 05, 2014 3:55 am

I am trying to cross compile linux kernel for my beagleboard xm. I needed to make some changes in the kernel to enable some drivers for my wireless adapter. I have successfully cross compiled the most recent stable linux kernel (3.14.5) for my beagleboard xm. I am now trying to learn how to make beagleboard xm boot from my compiled linux kernel. I have the following images in linux-3.14.5/arch/arm/boot : image and zimage.

Can someone please share the steps on how i can make a boot able image on an sd card for beagleboard xm?

Thanks.
