Jetson-TK1: Sysupgrade trashes the system

Postby kmnns » Fri Oct 30, 2015 6:25 pm

Hi all,

This tutorial works very well: http://elinux.org/Jetson/Porting_Arch
However, if I then boot the system and run the sysupgrade:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'pacman -Syu')

... and reboot, I am locked out. Both HDMI and the SSH server (I set up before) are dead. I assume it does not boot anymore.

The Pacman command does its thing, but eventually warns that a bunch of system directories have changed their permissions. (755 instead of 775 I think).

Could that be a reason? Do you guys know what happened here?
