Processing for Pi

Hi, recently I have been using a rPi 3b+ as a lab PC for my Arduino projects. Usually on my lab PC I will run Arduino IDE as well as a program called Processing for the Lab PC data post-processing. Looking in the repositories I couldn't find a processing package for the rPi, so I have installed it from this website;

https://pi.processing.org/download/

by running the following in Terminal; curl https://processing.org/download/install-arm.sh | sudo sh

So far the program seems to be working perfectly with no additional steps taken.

I think this is a good candidate for a no-muss easy to maintain package.

Unless you reviewed and understand the code, this is a horrible idea. Better to make yourself a PKGBUILD. You can even share in the AUR for others.

Thankyou for your reply.

Unfortunately I am still wet behind the ears as far as making my own Packages, this is something I have yet to try and do. It is one of the more difficult things to do in Arch as I haven't found any clear and concise tutorials for beginners on the subject, and that makes the learning curve for making a package steep as a cliff (I'm not a programmer by trade, just a hobbyist/tinkerer).

What I did know; This is an installation package for Raspbian, My kernel is Raspbian, so chances are high it will work ok. Also I know the program and what it should do, and I do trust the source, having used the program extensively on other platforms.
Finally, I knew that if it did go awry, or does go awry and makes the system unstable/unusable, I can fix it by restoring the system from a backup.

I have been thoroughly testing the program and can confirm it is working as expected. I have uploaded a sketch onto an Arduino equipped with a DS3232RTC and have run the SyncArduinoClock sketch in Processing. The results are a success.

Other Processing Examples and Demo Sketches are also working as expected.
