Signal Desktop Client

Dear Community!

I would be interested in the desktop client for the signal messenger that is packaged as signal-desktop in the arch repo.
Has anyone ever tried the version provided by pi-apps? Yes, I know, Arch is not a supported platform for pi-apps ... but maybe somebody has already given it a go ...
