Try rsget.pl instead, I do not think jdownloader would run very well.

Also pyload seems to work. I have managed to install, the core runs fine and I am able to connect through the webinterface and through the desktop GUI client. I haven't run any downloads yet.

If you mean pyload

read this http://pyload.org/pyload_stepbystep_linux

1- Install dependencies (do not forget django if you want the web-interface)
2- download pyload.zip and unzip
3- python /opt/pyload/module/web/manage.py syncdb 'to create the initial database for the webinterface
4- python pyLoadCore.py

Hope this helps.

This is a great download manager for Arch Linux ARM install. Thanks for the install instructions!

One question..is there anyway that I can have pyload run without having a terminal window open on my computer. Can it be run as daemon?

Thanks

I use screen, which is a terminal multiplexer
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Screen
http://jmcpherson.org/screen.html

screen -dmS pyload python pyLoadCore.py

Some less elegant ways are using nohup or & at the end of the command. See http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions ... on-471820/
