Can you try these and report back
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'pacman -U http://myplugbox.com/.trimslice/linux-trimslice/linux-headers-trimslice-3.1.10-3-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz http://myplugbox.com/.trimslice/linux-trimslice/linux-trimslice-3.1.10-3-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz http://myplugbox.com/.trimslice/nvidia-trimslice/nvidia-trimslice-15.1.0-1-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz')

Finally I got my TrimSlice set up to test the 3.1.10 (TS) kernel and 15.0 binary driver packages.

X will start without any errors, and xterm works fine. When I try to run Chromium, the X server has a segmentation fault. (Chromium runs fine through a remote X connection.) The log message isn't particularly detailed:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
[ 776.338]
[ 776.338] Backtrace:
[ 776.338]
[ 776.338] Segmentation fault at address 0x18
[ 776.338]
Fatal server error:
[ 776.338] Caught signal 11 (Segmentation fault). Server aborting
[ 776.338]
[ 776.339]
')

Just let me know what else you'd like me to test. :D

Firstly let me apologize profusely for resurrecting this thread but I feel this issue is still important. Did anyone manage to get browsers to work with this driver set on ArchLinux ARM in the end?

They are in the main repo now
pacman -Syu
If kernel didn't upgrade, then follow with
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'pacman -S linux-trimslice linux-headers-trimslice nvidia-trimslice')
There is a later chromium package

The problem I face there is that my device is actually a tegra 3 device. These drivers are released for the Tegra 3 chipset too but were never bundled by Arch ARM for that platform I don't believe which is a shame. If any :D one wanted to throw an AUR package up of the tegra 3 drivers I'd test that out. At this time, however, browsers still crash out for me :(

We aren't officially supporting any Tegra3 devices at this time, which is why there isn't a package for drivers for that platform. If you want to create one, feel free to. Personally, I doubt I will bother at all with Tegra3 after the incredible waste of my time that Tegra2 has been. Whenever nVidia decides to become more involved in the community outside of their manufactured android ecosystem, I might consider caring again.
Arch Linux ARM exists and continues to grow through community support, please donate today!

Does anyone know what the fix was for the browser issue on Tegra 2? I had exactly the same problem with the tegra 3 drivers by just extracting them over the root (/) - was hoping this was likely a difference in folder structure causing a library not to be loaded properly or something of that nature.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! :)
