tvheadend-git

Hi.

Please consider adding tvheadend-git package, I compiled the non Arm package with no issue on my Pogoplug 4.

There's a package for the official stable tvheadend releases, you may want also to add it.

I prefer the more updated git version as lately tvheadend updating constantly and fast with more features added and becoming more stable.

Thanks.

Are you willing to keep it up to date with the AUR version?

Not quite yet,
my arm devices are not in "stable" working mode as I'm trying to learn more about these devices, Arch and Linux.

Funny me, I thought that there's some build server, I didn't thought about the time consuming task to test each precompiled package.

I'm no developer but I would love to contribute after I'll have a more permanent setup and more digging in the wiki.

Thanks WarheadsSE.

No, what I meant is, are you willing to keep the package up to date? We have built a compiling farm, but AUR packages pulled in need to be maintained/kept up to date by someone. With the growing number of devices that we have to support, the team of 5 guys gets spread pretty thin, fast.

I meant that I don't have any idea what it means, I haven't seen any guide in that matter.
From your response I guess I need to upload the package (meaning the tarball and PKGBUILD ?) to the build farm ?,
I'm guessing not to the "User-Submitted Packages" forum.
Or maybe pr on github ?

Thanks.
