Nice DownloadDaemon for OneClick Hoster

I just came across this: http://downloaddaemon.sourceforge.net/ It's a download daemon for one click hoster. However, the install process is too complicated for me. It would be awesome if someone of you could build this.Or are there any other good Scripts? I know there is the fantastic JDownloader, however it still needs a GUI, the community is working on a fully working web based version, but it's a not a priority at the moment.

I second this! I think this would rock on the plugs. Transmission is great for torrents, but we need something like this with the web gui for normal http/ftp downloads.

I realize this post is mad old, but plowshare is pretty damn nice.

No gui, all command line, but works like a champ for uploads and downloads.

I installed it with 'packer -S plowshare'

Try rsget.pl , it's in AUR. Supports alot of hosts and has a web gui.

I have built a package for DownloadDaemon.

Edit: Now the package is in AUR (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=46103)

DownloadDaemon has a nice Web and Qt interface, does not use many external libraries or dependencies to do what it does. Therefore installation is easily possible on plattforms with limited space and resources.
