Hi,
I recently acquired a Raspberry Pi and a Dynamode WL-700N-RXS USB Wireless adapter. I just discovered that the kernel supplied modules are not adequate for this model. Looking around I found a guide: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 4&p=392697 for raspbian that works perfectly when doing it by hand.
I would like this process to be automated with a PKGBUILD for whomever needs it and for myself when reinstalling or reusing the adapter. I'm willing to write it myself, but I'm very new to arch and I feel lost. I've been reading the wiki about how to create a PKGBUILD: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Creating_Packages and kernel packages: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke ... Guidelines
Nonetheless I'm not sure about how to proceed. Is anyone able to guide me to some tutorial, guide or explanation more focused on packaging kernel modules/drivers? Is there any reason why this wouldn't be desirable and I should save the effort?
