I think originally I gave you php.ini without the notes.
Basically, the open_basedir's are where things are clamped down for security reasons

You did but you have to take into account that I am stupid...
Plus, I got the open_basedir completely backwards, i thought
PHP ALLOWS access to those folders...

As I said rtFm...

Got the article up, check it out if you have the time

http://Arch Linux ARM.com/index.php5/Torrentwatch-x

BTW, i wanted to use nginx but couldn't even configure that,
it worked in an Arch vm I have but not on the plug, gave me
a duplicate error when i unquoted "#default_type application/octet-stream;"
from the .config file...

At least it's working now!!!

You don't need these lines
Start php, apache uses php-apache and apache starts it
/etc/rc.d/php-fpm start

This is wrong, you meant config.php but cover with cp later on
Edit config.php
nano /srv/http/php/config.php.dist

You don't need fpm
nano /etc/rc.conf
DAEMONS=(... httpd php php-fpm trasmissiond ...)

That ok?
PS, some of the php pkgs probably not needed, would require experimenting to find what can be removed

The link with a guide to setup torrentwatch-x isn't working. Can somebody point me to it? I've searched for a while and can't find it.
