Hauppauge HD-PVR 2

I'm trying to compile the drivers for the HD-PVR2 (found here: http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/linux.html) on my pogoplug. The original hdpvr is packaged with the distro, but not the later version. I'll be honest, I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to Makefiles and such, and could really use a handout on this one.
