system update breaks ssh

Postby Panchovilla » Tue Nov 22, 2011 12:48 am

last week I did "sudo pacman -Syu" on my pink pogoplug, and after reboot I am unable to connect via ssh. I looked at rc.conf. nothing has changed there. I replicated the behavior on a USB drive with a clean install. I have since done a clean re-install on the original hard drive, and all is good, but I am puzzled. Are there settings that need to be updated before rebooting?

How long had it been since you updated before that point?

Several weeks on the hard drive install, but the problem was replicated on a fresh install of the "latest" tarball in a USB flash drive.
