UBit error: GoFlex Net not starting with correct datetime

Postby TomC » Tue Feb 07, 2012 12:40 pm

I installed ArchLinuxArm on my goflexnet a few weeks ago, and it worked fine. Now I'm installing on a new USB drive, and it doesn't get the correct date as it boots. I've installed ntp, but it doesn't update the system time until several minutes after bootup. Running "ntpd -qg" doesn't immediately update the clock either.

At bootup, I see the following (interesting section is highlighted):

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.

Any ideas what got messed up and how to fix it? The problem appears to be in the U-Boot / U-Bit, and I have no idea how to edit that.
