502 Bad Gateway error with lamp/wordpress environment

i have a pogo plug series 4, running with a LAMP environment with wordpress up and running. i can connect from my own network via local ip or domain name. but i get a 502 bad gateway error while trying to connect outside my network. any ideals on how to fix this. running apache, php, mysql, and wordpress. Thank You
