Going back to stock firmware on a v2

Postby johnny5 » Mon Sep 24, 2012 3:31 pm

Hello,

I have a Pogoplug v2 with arch linux and I need to go back to stock firmware. There have been a few threads that I have read through but I haven't had any luck getting my pogoplug back to stock. I was looking for some sort of guide but can't seem to find one. Can someone provide assistance? Thank you.

If you unplug archlinux bootable drive it should just boot up into pogoplug linux.

Could I then install a different distro from there if I wanted to?

You seem very confused.

Pogoplug is installed in nand inside your pogoplug. You can boot into it any time you want if your don't have any USB storage attached that contains rootfs of another linux distro.

USB has priority for booting. On your USB flash drive/hdd you can have any distro you like (given that it is for armv5) and plug will boot into it automagically.

So to answer your question: yes, you will be able to boot whatever you want after.
