GoFlex Net with DLNA, remote file access and SATA ports?

I have a Seagate GoFlex Net and I would like to have DLNA, remote file access (I have a static IP) and I would also like the SATA ports to work.

Is what im asking for possible?

Would I be able to install miniDLNA with the existing pogoplug operating system, and have both working at the same time?

We don't support running the "original" pogoplug stuff with us as the add-on. We can however show you how to run the Pogoplug stuff on top of Arch Linux ARM

Im not too fussed about the actual pogoplug os. All I want is DLNA support, remote file sharing, local NAS and working sata.

Im not bothered how this is achieved aslong as all of the above works. What do you think the best way of doing this is?

Thanks moonman, will all of the above still allow me to use the SATA port? Thanks for the advice so far its been really helpful so far.

I keep implying, but not outright saying this: SATA ports work perfect. Why would you expect otherwise?

Ok, Its just because Ive heard in the past that sata ports dont work without some extra things. I know very little about linux
