no wlan0 after pacman Syu

Postby Socaltom » Fri Nov 23, 2012 5:23 pm

This morning I updated the Uboot, installed the new kernel and did pacman -Syu the install went well aside from a pacman glibc error.
I have a usb stick usb adapter that was working previously through netcfg.
Now I I am not getting a wlan0
Here is the output of lsusb and dmesg

Did you reboot after update? I don't have any device that uses that drive but I can successfully load the module:

possibly permissions are wrong? Check drive for errors? see if /lib/moules exists at all
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'ls -l /lib/ | grep modules')

should return:

drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Nov 13 19:06 modules-load.d')

drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Oct 29 10:25 extramodules-3.6.4--kirkwood

and

I think something went wrong during the upgrade process. /lib exists as a directoring, to the link to /usr/lib didn't work.
